Lisa's WOW Story:

the past 8 years I’ve been working for not for profit organizations all over Niagara Region. I’ve been an Employment councelor, Job developer, facilitator, event coordinator and Skills assessor.  For some reason within those 8 years I always seem to design workshops whenever needed and truly enjoyed that part of my day.   

 July 2009 my contract ended and found myself without a job.  For some reason, this time I felt different.  I found I was questioning myself about what truly made me happy, what I wanted to do this time and how I would be able to help others. I just didn’t want to take the first contract that came along, as I had in the past. I really wanted to focus on what would make me happy as a long term goal.  I’d always been lucky with new contracts but this time I just wanted to hold off for the right thing, something that I loved to do.

The one thing I was sure of was I LOVED TO HELP OTHERS and really enjoyed watching my clients flourish in a much more positive way! 

Then I discovered the Passion Test Book or maybe I should say “it discovered me”.  I found myself having a hard time putting this book down being so involved in all the great tools and information it provided. 

As I was reading the book, I remember saying to my husband “I’m going to design a workshop on this book because it’s such an easy concept with much needed tools. It’s wonderful!   Well to my surprise near the end of the book it stated, “if you are interested in becoming a certified facilitator for the Passion Test go to our website for more information.” "WOW!" I thought "that’s so easy!” I even said to my husband “I don’t even have to design this workshop. I just need to attend the training”.

I jumped on the computer with much excitement to find out the next training in Canada is in November 2009 and in Alberta. Now keeping in mind I’m out of a job!  Also for those who know me… I have no patience to wait especially if it’s a "GREAT opportunity” lol  but as I kept on reading I became disappointed to find out it would take from July to November to do this workshop, as it was the only workshop they were offering in Canada.  So I closed the computer and started to complain to my husband about how much I really wanted this to happen and explained to him when it was on. I also told him the closest date was in November 2009 but in ATLANTA GEORGIA! I couldn’t believe it, why Atlanta?  Again keeping in mind “I’m out of a job” and this would cost a fortune.. Think about it.. The expenses, flight, taxi and lets not forget the course itself $$$$$$$$$.

 I left it alone..  The next day I guess I must have been mopping around the house some more ..I guess.. lol   My husband finally says to me “Since you’ve picked up this book you’ve been talking about passion this ….passion that… yet you are ready to leave your own Passion???   He said JUST GO!! Lol   Normally I’m the responsible one in the house, who says “well we have to pay this …and that … there is always something to pay for on the house but this time I found myself saying “YES I’m doing it and it’s my TIME! " I ran to the computer with such excitement kind of like a little kid..Lol organized the full trip and workshop.  I was so exited I even told myself maybe I should go FIRST CLASS... lol  then thought to myself … O.K girl just be happy you’re going, don’t push your luck!! Lol.

For some reason I found myself also telling my husband that  “I will return all the money back in the account before I leave”. I really didn’t have a clue on where I was getting this money, but I just let it go and never thought anymore about it.Two weeks before the trip guess what happens?  I get a cheque in the mail for guess how much??   Exactly the amount I needed for my trip!!!   GUESS from whom???   Revenue Canada!!  Truthfully does this ever happen?  Revenue Canada.. WOW..  They paid me back from adjustment 8 years ago!  All I kept thinking is “why NOW??”

I know why now… I believed it when I said to my husband I was going to return the money in the bank before I left” I had faith it would happen.  I really didn’t’ know how, but I knew it would!  I cried when I opened the cheque and of course the first call I made was to my husband.  He just couldn’t believe it! Another miracle/law of attraction happened to me. The morning I’m leaving for Atlanta a big stretch limo shows up in my driveway!  Again I call my husband and said “Are you nuts!! We spent enough on this trip why did you order me a limo? He answers back I never called you a Limo?? I hung up fast and said I will call you later! The limo driver walked up my stairs to hear me say, “good morning but I think you made a mistake I ordered a van?? “ I said again, sorry I never ordered a Limo I can’t afford that right now”    (Continued at right)
